A Guide to Developing Life's Most Important Skill
This is an important and quite helpful book. In it, Matthieu Ricard, a Buddhist monk and former cellular geneticist, shows how happiness is an important goal that we all seek. Interestingly, it is biologically impossible for a person to be angry and happy at the same time or to hate and be happy at the same time. As Pico Iyer writes:
Matthieu Ricard reveals the keys to happiness with a clarity, a wisdom, a beautiful spirit, and a sense of calm that are themselves the proof of the program for clearer living he outlines with such radiant (such rigorous) simplicity.
